Fred Davis II 2026 NFL Draft Profile | CB from Northwestern
Scouting Report
Fred Davis II is a cornerback prospect out of Clemson who has quietly built a solid resume heading into the 2026 NFL Draft. At 6-0 and 197 pounds, Davis possesses average size for the position but stands out with notably long 32 3/4-inch arms that help him contest catches even when in trail position. He was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and developed into a reliable coverage corner during his time with the Tigers. Davis showcased his abilities at the 2026 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, where he was identified as one of the better cornerback performers during the week of practices. At the Senior Bowl, he demonstrated the ability to use his length to contest catches and drove a receiver out of bounds on a wide zone run during the red zone period. He also came off his assignment in the flat to break up a corner route in the back of the end zone. His performance in Mobile showed he can be physical in run support while also being disruptive in coverage. Davis projects as a late-round developmental corner who could contribute on special teams early.
