The NFL redraft game, explained
Fix the Franchise is a daily NFL redraft game. Every day it hands you one real team in one real draft between 2017 and 2021: the real draft order, the real class, and that team's real picks. The other 31 teams draft around you in the mock draft simulator, you make the calls at your picks, and then the reveal puts your class next to the one the real front office made at the same slots, scored on the careers those players actually had. Beat the GM and the season re-sim tells you what your class was worth in wins.
What is an NFL redraft?
A redraft replays a past NFL draft with what we know now. Here you do it live: you get one team's real picks from one real year, the rest of the league drafts around you, and every player you take is scored on the career he actually had.
Which drafts can I redo?
Every team from the 2017 through 2021 drafts, 160 teams in all. A new one comes up every day, and the leaderboard only counts the three-round run so every score covers the same picks.
How is my draft graded?
Each pick is judged against what players taken around that same slot turned into, then your class gets one letter. The real GM's picks at your slots get graded the same way, so you see both letters side by side, plus the best player who was still on the board at each of your picks.
Where does the new record come from?
We replay that team's real schedule with the roster re-rated by how much better or worse your class was. It is a simulation, and it runs hotter than history on purpose so one good draft shows up in the standings.
Is it the real mock draft simulator?
Yes. The game runs the StickToTheModel mock draft simulator loaded with that year's real draft order and real class, with the names on the board. The one thing it keeps from you is what your team actually did at your picks, until the end.
