Kevin Concepcion 2026 NFL Draft Profile | WR from Texas A&M
Scouting Report
Kevin "KC" Concepcion is an explosive, dynamic playmaker who has emerged as one of the premier route runners in college football and a legitimate first-round prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft. At 5'11", 190 pounds with verified 4.46 speed, Concepcion is a three-level threat who creates separation with crisp movement and exceptional football IQ. Originally a three-star recruit from Charlotte, North Carolina, Concepcion made history at NC State by becoming the first receiver to start a season opener for the Wolfpack since Bo Hines in 2014. His freshman campaign was record-breaking: 71 receptions, 839 yards, and 10 touchdowns-all program freshman records-earning him ACC Rookie of the Year, ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Freshman All-American honors from multiple outlets including FWAA, The Athletic, and PFF. After transferring to Texas A&M ahead of the 2025 season, Concepcion posted the fourth-most receiving yards in the SEC (919) while tying for the conference lead in touchdowns (9). His versatility extends beyond receiving, as he added two punt return touchdowns in 2025. Concepcion is a deceptive and sudden route-runner who effectively attacks both man and zone coverages, finding soft spots and creating separation at an elite level. Once he secures the football, he places defenders in conflict with his toughness, elusiveness, and explosiveness after the catch.
