The 6'3", 250-pound edge defender originally went to Stanford as a 4-star recruit in the 2022 class and was an immediate starter, racking up 46 tackles, 8.5 TFL, and 2.5 sacks as a freshman to be named true freshman All-American by 247Sports. In 2023, he accumulated 34 tackles, 6 TFL, and 5 sacks, then 31 tackles, 8 TFL, and 7 sacks as a junior before transferring to Texas Tech in 2024. Bailey is a quick-twitched athlete with very smooth and easy change of direction skills to beat offensive linemen across faces. He uses his hands well as a pass-rusher, showing quick and active hands to defeat the tackle's hands.
