Jekail Middlebrook was Middle Tennessee's whole offense last year, a true three-down back who ran for 752 yards and caught 40 passes on top of it. Now he lands at Virginia with both of last year's lead backs gone, so the job is sitting right there. But torching CUSA is a different animal than grinding out yards against ACC fronts, and backs making that jump historically keep about two-thirds of their production. The pass-catching role travels even when the raw numbers don't, so draft him as a steady starter, not a star.
