Every qualified player is measured on value, production, efficiency, and share of his offense, adjusted for the strength of his competition. The blend is indexed so the historical bar equals 100 — clear it and the player had a Heisman-caliber season by the standard.

What happens when the numbers and the voters disagree?

Accepted Answer

We show both. The board flags the seasons where the player who cleared the bar highest was not the one who actually won the Heisman, so you can see where the data and the voters parted ways.
