Brandon Cisse is a rising cornerback prospect who transferred from N.C. State and has become arguably the top transfer portal addition for South Carolina this season. The junior defensive back is creating significan't buzz in NFL scouting circles, with four out of five teams projecting him as a late first-round or early second-round pick. Primarily playing outside for the Gamecocks, Cisse also brings valuable nickel experience that adds to his draft intrigue. He has thrived in South Carolina's defense, allowing only 12 catches on 28 targets for 176 yards this season while recording 19 tackles, one interception, three passes batted, and a forced fumble. Ranked as the #4 cornerback prospect by Mel Kiper behind only Tennessee's Jermod McCoy, Clemson's Avieon Terrell, and LSU's Mansoor Delane, Cisse is described as a speedy, physical corner who plays the premium cornerback position. Multiple scouts have noted his natural ability in coverage, and his ability to close to the catch point makes him particularly attractive heading into the 2026 NFL Draft.
