Brice Pollock is a ball-hawking boundary corner who turned a transfer from Mississippi State into a breakout, first-team All-Big 12 season at Texas Tech. He picked off five passes in 2025, tied for the Big 12 lead, and did it without surrendering a single touchdown in coverage. His 35.7 passer rating allowed was the best mark among all returning starting cornerbacks, and that number is not a fluke of scheme alone. Pollock plays with his eyes, reads route concepts, and drives downhill on the throw with anticipation that most young corners simply do not have. Texas Tech trusted him on an island without safety help over the top, and he held his own on the boundary across 797 snaps as a full-time starter. He is more than a coverage stat line.
