Danny Scudero was the best receiver in the country nobody was talking about last year, leading all of FBS in receiving yards at San Jose State with 88 grabs for 1,297 and 10 scores, good enough to land as a Biletnikoff finalist. The reason he isn't ranked even higher is the jump in weight class: piling up numbers on Mountain West corners is a different Saturday than running routes against Big 12 secondaries in Boulder every week, so those gaudy totals are coming back to earth. What travels is the thing that made him a star in the first place, which is his knack for getting open and eating targets no matter who's across from him.
