Deshaun Lee

Deshaun Lee is a fifth-year senior cornerback from Belleville, Michigan. He spent two seasons as part of Iowa's cornerback rotation and came into 2026 as the clear top man in the room. At 5-10 and 189 pounds he is smaller than NFL teams usually want on the outside. 247Sports sees him as a quality undrafted free agent signing who could also be worth watching in the later rounds. His record is long and steady: 25 career starts before this fall, three straight years of 32 or more tackles, and a habit of finding the football. He picked off Iowa's first pass of 2026 against Northern Illinois and added another in the comeback win at Michigan. That gave him two through five starts, which the school's notes rank second in the Big Ten. He set a season high with seven tackles against Ohio State, which shows he is willing to come downhill against top competition. 247Sports says he held up in both coverage and run defense in 2025. That year he started 10 games for a defense that finished top 10 nationally in scoring, total and passing defense. He redshirted in 2022, won the program's defensive Next Man In Award in 2023 and was named honorable mention All-Big Ten by the media in 2025. In high school he played receiver and returned kicks for a state title team. Lee projects as a depth corner whose nose for the ball and long track record give him a real shot in camp.
