Raylen Wilson runs like his bloodlines suggest. He came out of Tallahassee Lincoln as one of Florida's most decorated defensive prospects with a track pedigree and a father, Robert Wilson, who played receiver in the NFL. He posted 139 tackles as a junior and 117 with 18 tackles for loss as a senior, earning All-Big Bend Defensive Player of the Year, an Under Armour All-America Game selection and consensus four-star status. He made the SEC All-Freshman team in 2023, then recorded 47 tackles, 7.0 for loss and 1.5 sacks across 14 games during Georgia's 2024 SEC championship run, highlighted by a 28-yard sack and forced fumble against Kentucky that earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week. He started all 14 games in 2025 and finished third on the team with 74 tackles, 6.5 for loss and 2.5 sacks, with a career-best nine tackles in a road win at Tennessee and a two-sack, five-stop game at Mississippi State. He played in the SEC Championship against Alabama and the playoff opener against Ole Miss before announcing his return for 2026. Track speed gives him sideline-to-sideline range, he finishes what he reaches with only four missed tackles, and he has the speed to carry backs in coverage.
