Steve Angeli is the Notre Dame transfer who showed up at Syracuse last fall and was immediately the most productive passer in the country through September, right up until his Achilles popped at Clemson. The four games he did play were legit: 1,276 yards with just two picks, and that was against real ACC defenses, not a cupcake slate. But four games is four games, and paying up for him here is a bet on a full healthy season from a guy coming off the nastiest injury a pocket passer can have. The arm is real, the sample is not, so treat him like a lottery ticket with a good story, not a sure thing.
