First STTM top-95 finish at tier 8 (#91) in year five for a 104th overall 3rd-round pick puts Stephens in the late-bloomer journeyman class with structural rotational depth ceiling. The SMU AAC 3rd-round origin plus the change of scenery to the Jets give him basic veteran value. The 2026 question is whether Stephens holds tier 8 or whether the role compresses to swing depth.
