Christian Gray is a Notre Dame cornerback who entered the 2027 cycle as an experienced, athletic cover man whose draft stock hinges on a healthy, full-time senior season. A St. Louis native out of DeSmet High School, Gray arrived in South Bend as a 4-star recruit (Class of 2023) and worked into the Irish rotation immediately. Some evaluators slot him in the late Day 2 range, grading him as a top-70 cornerback, while others hand him a strong player grade and list him among the top corners in the class. More measured projections peg him closer to a sixth-round outcome, most often mocked to Minnesota. Scouts note he may be even more athletic than highly regarded teammate Leonard Moore, and that Notre Dame experimented with kicking Gray inside to nickel during the spring because of the room's depth.
