STM Take
Rookie tier 8 (#65) for an 89th overall 3rd-round pick is on the year-one band for Day 2 CB prospects. The Kansas State Big 12 2024 First-Team All-Big-12 honors plus the structural Buccaneers anchor role gives him real college foundation. The 2026 question is whether Parrish crosses into tier 6-7 territory in his year-two jump or whether the role compresses to swing depth.
Parrish came out of Kansas State as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 3rd-round pick (89th overall) in 2025 after earning 2024 First-Team All-Big-12 honors. The Buccaneers used him in the CB rotation as a rookie. His first STTM appearance comes in 2025 at tier 8 (#65), the year-one developmental band for 3rd-round CB prospects.
Strengths
- Kansas State Big 12 2024 First-Team All-Big-12 honors plus the 89th overall draft slot gives him real college foundation.
- Year-one rotational reps for the Buccaneers at age 22 plus the structural anchor reps gives him the developmental runway.
Concerns
- Rookie tier 8 (#65) is on the year-one band for 3rd-round CB picks but below the breakout-tier expectations.
- Tampa Bay's broader defensive identity transition compresses the structural support around Parrish.
What to watch: Whether Parrish crosses into tier 6 (top 50) in 2026, the standard year-two threshold for 3rd-round CB picks on stable-starter trajectories.
Comps
Of his 20 closest coming out: 2 stars, 5 starters, 6 backups, 7 didn't stick.
