Scouting Report

Penn State · 2026 draft class

Nicholas Singleton is one of the most exciting offensive prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft, a 6'0", 227-pound wrecking ball from Penn State equipped with legitimate 4.39 speed and the raw power to squat 655 pounds-breaking Saquon Barkley's program record and landing him on Bruce Feldman's coveted 'Freaks List' in consecutive seasons. The former five-star recruit has improved his bench press to 435 pounds, runs a 4.35 forty, has a 4.18 shuttle time, and a max velocity of 23.5 mph. Singleton excels as a downhill runner with his shoulders squared to the line of scrimmage, converting speed and acceleration to power upon contact. He's a talented pass catcher with alignment versatility, able to line up out wide and in the slot to create favorable matchups-catching 41 passes for 375 yards and 5 TDs in 2024. His partnership with Kaytron Allen made history as the first Penn State duo to each eclipse 1,000 rushing yards in the same season. Singleton is a physical runner who delivers hits to defenders, and at the second level he's a problem for defensive backs. He has early-round potential and is in contention to be the first running back selected in April.
