Peter Clarke is the most unusual profile in the tight end class. Born in London and developed through the NFL Academy, he caught 14 passes for 371 yards and five touchdowns as his academy side went undefeated in his final season, then arrived at Temple still learning the sport. He spent two years as a depth piece, totaling five catches across 20 games in 2023 and 2024, before the junior year changed everything. In 2025 Clarke caught 30 passes on 42 targets for 483 yards and six touchdowns, dropped a single ball, added more than 200 yards after the catch, and won six of nine contested chances. He did that while handling a real inline blocking load, 263 run-blocking snaps with exactly one pressure allowed, which is the detail that separates him from the usual ascending pass catcher at the position. At 6-6 and 265 pounds with rare timed speed for the size, he is a seam stretcher in a true Y body who can stay attached to a tackle's hip. The asterisks are about competition and volume. The American Athletic defenses he dominated are several levels from Sunday, Temple's route menu was a starter kit of seams, flats and play-action shots rather than full-tree work, and there is exactly one season of starting production on file. Power Four programs came with portal money in December 2025 and he stayed an Owl, which means the level-of-competition question rolls into next season untested.
