Treydan Stukes 2026 NFL Draft Profile | S from Arizona
Scouting Report
Treydan Stukes represents one of the great development stories in college football, evolving from a walk-on at Arizona to an All-American cornerback and one of the top nickel prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft class. The Litchfield Park, Arizona native played at Millennium High School, totaling 97 tackles, 11 interceptions, and 14 pass breakups over three seasons while also contributing offensively. His athletic ability extended to track and field, where he earned a state championship in the triple jump and was a long jump finalist. At 6'2", 200 pounds, Stukes offers excellent size for a slot coverage option. Across six years at Arizona, Stukes compiled 206 career tackles and 7 interceptions, with his 2025 campaign arguably his best. In 10 games, he had 52 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, his first career sack, and produced career highs with 10 passes defended and four interceptions. That performance earned him first-team All-Big 12 honors and second-team All-American recognition from On3. Stukes is an elite athlete with blazing recovery speed and fluid hips that allow smooth transitions in coverage. He diagnoses route combinations at a high level and exhibits excellent anticipation and aggressive play. His size allows him to deliver powerful jams to reroute receivers at the line and make plays at the catch point. He plays with the aggression required of a nickel and shows effort on long chase-down tackles in pursuit. However, Stukes is an older prospect with some injuries in his past. He bites on double moves too frequently and gets caught flat-footed on certain routes. His block-shedding technique and tackling angles in run defense need improvement. Despite these concerns, Stukes projects as one of the top nickel corners available.
