Braelin Moore

Braelin Moore is an undersized but highly experienced interior lineman who has become one of the more compelling early-round sleepers at center for the 2027 class. A three-star recruit out of Freedom High in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, ranked 748th nationally by 247Sports, Moore redshirted at Virginia Tech in 2022, then started 12 games at left guard as a redshirt freshman before kicking inside to center in 2024. He transferred to LSU in December 2024 and started all 12 games there, posting a PFN OL Impact grade of 84.9 that ranked 17th among qualifying centers. PFN's profile lists him at a 82.87 prospect score, 108th on its 2027 big board and third among centers, and his pass protection is where he separates: five pressures allowed on true dropbacks for a 2.1 percent rate and a single sack on the season. Vikings Wire's summer report frames him as a player who does not look the biggest on film but plays with an edge, using strength, agility and balance to hold up against bigger interior defenders. Silver and Black Pride slots him among the top names at both guard and center in a class it calls thin at the position but stacked at the top, with four potential immediate starters. His calling cards are explosiveness off the snap, consistent leverage, two-phase intelligence and competitive energy rather than length or mass. He fires to landmarks in the run game and can reach adjacent gap defenders, and his upper and lower body stay in sync in protection, which makes him very hard to catch out of position. He is not an elite-range zone center, but the gap-to-gap burst, football IQ and technique profile as a quality NFL starter.
