Caleb Banks 2026 NFL Draft Profile | DL1T from Florida
Scouting Report
Caleb Banks is a massive, athletic interior defensive lineman whose rare physical tools and positional versatility make him one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft. At a verified 6'6 1/8", 334 pounds with arms over 35 inche's long, Banks is a true lab-built interior lineman with vast alignment versatility. His journey began in Detroit, Michigan, where he developed into a three-star recruit at Southfield A&T High School, initially flying under the recruiting radar before landing at Louisville. After redshirting as a true freshman and barely seeing the field in Year 2, Banks transferred to Florida ahead of the 2023 campaign and became an immediate starter, collecting 19 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, and a sack in 12 games. His 2024 breakout campaign established him as a first-round talent: 21 tackles, 7 TFLs, 4.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles in 12 contests. In spite of his massive frame, Banks is supremely explosive and agile with high-end lateral twitch and corrective athleticism. He can leverage his burst, length, and mass into awesome point-of-attack power, and he has the strength to stack-and-shed effectively in the run game. Unfortunately, a foot injury suffered against LSU limited Banks to just three games during the 2025 season, requiring surgery and shifting pre-draft evaluation to his 2024 tape.
