Christen Miller is one of those rare defensive tackles who combines size, strength, and movement skills with the potential to make an impact on every down at the NFL level. At 6'4", 310 pounds, Miller entered Georgia's program as a 4-star recruit in 2022 and learned behind first-round picks Jordan Davis, Devonte Wyatt, and Jalen Carter before emerging as a starter. His anchor strength is pro-ready-he consistently holds his ground against double teams without giving up ground, showing tremendous lower body power and natural leverage. Miller has violent, heavy hands that deliver shocking power on initial contact; when he lands his punch, offensive linemen visibly rock back on their heels. At his size, he shows better lateral movement than most, displaying the ability to work down the line and make plays outside his gap. Miller is a technically sound run defender who understands leverage and gap responsibilities with cinder-block hands and relentless extensions that shock blockers into stasis. He plays with infectious energy and a motor that doesn't quit from the first quarter to the fourth. However, his pass rush arsenal lacks refinement-he wins with initial quickness and power rather than technique, explaining pedestrian sack numbers that don't match his physical gifts. Shoulder surgery further complicates his evaluation with durability concerns.
