Alexander is a powerful defensive lineman with impressive anchor ability and run-stopping prowess. He possesses excellent upper and lower body strength to hold his ground against double teams and maintain gap integrity. His hand usage is advanced, showing the ability to stack, shed, and locate ball carriers quickly. Alexander demonstrates good initial quickness for his size, allowing him to occasionally penetrate and disrupt plays in the backfield. His motor runs consistently hot, pursuing laterally and downfield with good effort. In pass rush situations, he shows the ability to collapse the pocket with his bull rush and is developing additional moves to complement his power.
