DeMonte Capehart is a physically imposing defensive tackle with game-wrecking upside who spent six seasons at Clemson developing into an NFL prospect. At 6'5" and 315 pounds with enormous arms, Capehart's prototypical build makes him an intimidating presence on the interior. He brings a combination of physicality and power that enables him to displace blockers and disrupt plays. Capehart is a heavy-handed defender who uses a powerful punch to knock offensive linemen backward, often driving them into the backfield. He capitalizes on those powerful hands by unleashing a dominant bull rush especially effective against centers, allowing him to push the pocket. His two-gapping potential and ability to manipulate offensive linemen with arm length and play strength combine to make him one of the best run defenders in the 2026 draft. When isolated one-on-one, Capehart fires his hands into the lineman's chest and drives them backward, quickly throwing plays into chaos. Spanning his six-year career, he totaled 72 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, 3 sacks, a forced fumble, and 5 pass breakups. However, his pass-rush plan lacks polished moves and counters-if he doesn't win with his bull rush, he's not going to win at all.
