Domani Jackson is a talented press-man cover corner who shows versatility and football IQ to flip between Cover 2 and man while staying responsible and sound. His football odyssey began at legendary Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, where his sophomore campaign announced his arrival with authority - 48 tackles, nine pass breakups, and MaxPreps Freshman All-America First Team honors. He continued earning MaxPreps All-State recognition while helping the Monarchs capture another national championship, while his athletic prowess extended beyond the gridiron as he tied California's state record in the 100 meters with a blistering 10.25-second clocking that ranked second nationally in 2021. His recruitment became a nationwide spectacle, earning unanimous five-star ratings from ESPN (92/100), 247Sports (0.98 composite), and Rivals (6.1 grade). USC won the initial battle for his services, but his Trojan tenure proved bumpy with limited opportunities over two seasons that yielded just 28 tackles and four pass breakups across 18 games. The transfer portal beckoned, and Alabama's Kalen DeBoer successfully lured Jackson to Tuscaloosa with promises of immediate starting opportunities.
