Ephesians Prysock 2026 NFL Draft Profile | CB from Washington
Scouting Report
Ephesians Prysock is a lengthy athletic cornerback from Washington who brings an excellent blend of zone instincts and size to the position. At 6-4 and 195 pounds he is one of the tallest cornerback prospects in the 2026 class and uses that length to disrupt timing and impact the catch point consistently throughout his career. A 4-star recruit who transferred from Arizona to Washington Prysock started 42 games between both programs showing remarkable durability and experience. He compiled 20 passes defensed and two interceptions across his collegiate career while showing schematic versatility to play in a variety of defensive structures. At the Senior Bowl he showed off nickel reps that confirmed his movement skills are exceptional for a player his height. Prysock has excellent route-recognition skills in zone coverage playing with consistent depth to take away throws or drive into the catch point. He uses his hands well in press coverage landing powerful strikes to the chest of receivers with hip flip and lateral burst keeping him in the receiver's hip pocket. He is effective in the run game maintaining outside leverage and using a quick block-shielding move thanks to his length. However his press timing is inconsistent and combined with late feet in the release receivers can stack him vertically. He gets grabby and takes penalties when behind the play needing to stay calm when stacked downfield. Despite getting his hands on a ton of passes his ball-tracking and locating ability limit his interception totals. He is a poor tackler who needs to wrap up more consistently with his frame. Bleacher Report graded him 6.9 ranking him 123rd overall and CB19 comparing him to Akayleb Evans.
