Evan Stewart is a fifth-year Oregon wide receiver who began his career at Texas A&M as one of the most decorated recruits in his class. All three major outlets rated him a 5-star prospect, he was a 2022 Under Armour All-American, and Jason Witten coached him at Liberty High School. He produced right away in College Station, catching 53 passes for 649 yards in 2022. His 64.9 receiving yards per game led all SEC freshmen and earned him Freshman All-America honors from ESPN, the FWAA and The Athletic. In 2023 he played only eight games, but he opened with back-to-back 100-yard games, including 11 catches for 142 yards at Miami. After transferring to Oregon he started 12 games in 2024 and finished second on the team with 48 catches for 613 yards and five scores. His best night was the win over No. 2 Ohio State: seven catches, a career-high 149 yards and a 69-yard reception. An injury cost him all of 2025, and he used a medical redshirt. Oregon lists him at 6-0 and 178 pounds. In high school track he won the Texas 5A long jump title at 24 feet, 6.5 inches and anchored a gold-medal 4x400 relay, which fits the burst behind his downfield catches. Draft analysts are watching him again in 2026. Dane Brugler discussed him among the top preseason receivers on the Saturday2Sunday podcast, and he showed up in that show's in-season stock reports. The main questions for scouts are his health after a lost season and his slender frame.
