McLeod is an athletic edge defender with excellent burst and developing technique. He displays impressive first-step quickness, often beating offensive tackles off the snap and pressuring the quarterback. As a pass rusher, McLeod demonstrates good bend around the edge and the flexibility to flatten to the quarterback. He shows developing hand usage, employing a growing array of moves to defeat blockers. Against the run, McLeod is improving at setting the edge and maintaining gap discipline. He plays with high motor and competitive toughness on every snap.
