Kamari Ramsey is the second-best safety prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft, trailing only Caleb Downs. The 6'0", 205-pound defensive back's trajectory took a dramatic turn when he followed defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn from UCLA to rival USC prior to the 2024 season-and he made his impact felt immediately with 60 tackles (43 solo), 5.5 TFLs, two sacks, five passes defensed, an interception, and two forced fumbles. What separates Ramsey is his exceptional read-and-react ability, consistently identifying route combinations, receiver tells, and triggers to the football. The versatility he showcases allows him to flow from two-high alignment to robber and into nickel, making him a defensive chess piece. He's exceedingly quick with his trigger and explosive on the attack, with coverage mobility, spatial feel, and corrective athleticism that rank among the best in the class. At 6'0" with a strong, compact frame, Ramsey is an energized mover with hyper-active foot speed, extraordinary swivel fluidity, and closing speed to erase gaps out of breaks. He floats on his pedal in off-man and zone with stellar transition freedom and role flexibility to man up slot receivers or manage route concepts from two-high shells.
