Tier 7 (#55) in 2023 to tier 2 (#10) in 2025 in his first full season as Kelce's successor plus the Super Bowl LIX ring is one of the cleanest successor-to-legend arcs in recent memory. The Nebraska athletic profile plus three years of patient development paid off in the year-three jump. The 2026 question is whether Jurgens crosses into tier 1 and establishes himself as a top-5 center or whether the tier 2 finish becomes the stable baseline.
Jurgens came out of Nebraska as the Philadelphia Eagles' 2nd-round pick (51st overall) in 2022, drafted to be the long-term successor to Jason Kelce at center.
