Cameron Ball is an athletically gifted defensive tackle from Arkansas whose physical tools have long intrigued evaluators but whose production has never matched his potential. He is widely regarded as a toolsy interior defensive lineman with rare movement skills for the position but he has never put together a complete consistent season at Arkansas with 2025 described as a down year by his typically high standards. Ball attended the 2026 Senior Bowl where he peaked late in the week saving his best performance for Day 3. He posted a quick one-on-one win against Logan Taylor with a club-swim move and showed agility and closing burst by forcing quarterback Luke Altmyer to throw the ball away on a deep red zone play action bootleg. ESPN's Mel Kiper listed him as a just-missed prospect outside his top 10 at defensive tackle placing him among the fringe Day 3 tier. A mock draft from Riggo's Rag projected him as a sixth-round pick to the Washington Commanders noting his size strength and physical upside suggest there is something to work with despite the down year.
