Trader is an athletic safety with excellent versatility and developing instincts. He displays good range from the deep third, covering ground quickly and providing over-the-top help on vertical routes. Against the run, Trader is a physical tackler, bringing proper form and leverage to the point of contact. In coverage, he demonstrates improving awareness in zone, understanding route combinations and passing off receivers correctly. Trader has the athleticism to match tight ends in man coverage and the toughness to play in the box when needed. He plays with high competitive toughness and communication skills.
