A Rivals four-star out of Thomas Worthington in Columbus, Ohio, he collected 53 tackles for loss over his final two prep seasons, including 28 with 10 sacks as a senior, and chose Pittsburgh over a long list of offers. He grew into a dependable interior presence for the Panthers, and 2025 was the breakout: two sacks, 20 pressures and 18 run stops across 13 games with a forced fumble, playing a steady early-down role over 484 snaps without losing reps to fatigue. He anchored West Virginia with a sack and four run stops, punched out a fumble against Central Michigan, and stacked and shed single blocks reliably. After the season he transferred to Notre Dame.
