Tobi Osunsanmi is a 6-foot-3, 250-pound edge rusher from Wichita, Kansas, who enters the 2027 draft cycle as one of the more intriguing developmental pass rushers in a class loaded with raw athleticism. Originally recruited to Kansas State as a three-star linebacker out of Wichita High School East in the Class of 2022, Osunsanmi preserved his redshirt as a true freshman and played in a reserve linebacker and special teams role throughout 2023 before formally converting to defensive end toward the end of that season. His athletic background is exceptional: he ran a 10.85 100-meter dash in high school and anchored a Kansas 6A state championship-winning 4x100 relay team, and K-State defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman stated he may be as gifted of an athlete as any player in the program. In 2024, now firmly installed at defensive end, Osunsanmi put together a productive reserve campaign with 19 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble over 303 defensive snaps in 13 games.
