STM Take

Alabama 2017 CFP National Championship pedigree plus eight years of NFL survival as a 93rd overall 3rd-round pick puts Harrison in the rare championship-pedigree S journeyman class. The Alabama SEC 3rd-round origin plus the multi-team experience give him real veteran market value. The 2026 question is whether Harrison holds tier 8 with the Falcons or whether the role compresses to swing depth.

Harrison came out of Alabama as the Jacksonville Jaguars' 3rd-round pick (93rd overall) in 2018 after winning the 2017 CFP National Championship. He has bounced through the Jaguars, Browns, Saints, and now Falcons across eight NFL seasons.

Strengths

  • Alabama 2017 CFP National Championship pedigree plus eight years of NFL survival across four teams as a 93rd overall 3rd-round pick gives him the rare championship-pedigree journeyman S résumé.
  • Alabama SEC 3rd-round origin plus the multi-team experience gives him real plug-in S veteran depth value.

Concerns

  • Career STTM range typically tier 8 confirms the structural ceiling has rarely climbed above rotational depth.
  • Atlanta's broader defensive identity around the Walker-Pearce double-1st-round investment compresses Harrison's structural snap share.

What to watch: Whether Harrison holds tier 8 or better in 2026 with the Falcons or whether the role compresses to swing depth.
