The Birmingham native transformed his body from 380 to 326 pounds through exceptional discipline, emerging as Alabama's starting nose tackle in 2023. Despite limited experience with only two games played in 2022, he posted career highs in 2024 with 40 tackles, 7.5 TFL, and 2.5 sacks while earning SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors against South Florida. Keenan's low center of gravity and quick hands make him difficult to displace, particularly effective at eating double teams and maintaining gap integrity. He demonstrates surprising short-area athleticism and lateral quickness for his size, reminiscent of T'Vondre Sweat's range as a run defender. His pass rush remains developmental, relying more on persistence than explosiveness, limiting him to early-down and rotational snaps at the NFL level.
