Tier 8 (#80) in 2023 to back-to-back tier 2 finishes (#10, #9) with Miami is one of the strongest change-of-scenery jumps at the position, and the McDaniel scheme fit appears to be the catalyst. The Texas State UDFA origin plus six years of NFL development put Brewer in his prime now. The 2026 question is whether the tier 2 finish holds with continued Miami zone-scheme stability or whether the Tua Tagovailoa offensive transition compresses the ceiling.
Brewer came out of Texas State as a 2020 undrafted free agent signed by the Tennessee Titans and worked his way into a starter role across three seasons before signing with the Miami Dolphins in 2024 free agency.
