Francis Mauigoa is a densely-built, powerful offensive lineman who projects as a classic quality collegiate tackle-to-guard convert in the mold of recent draft picks Jonah Savaiinaea and Steve Avila. At 6'6", 335 pounds, Mauigoa entered Miami as a 5-star recruit in the 2023 class and has developed into one of the most physically imposing blockers in college football. His thick, sturdy, well-rounded build delivers knock-back power at the point of attack with good grip strength and leg drive to uproot defenders on angle-drive, double-team, and pin blocks. Mauigoa was a second-team All-ACC selection in 2024 after starting 13 games at right tackle and earned All-ACC freshman team recognition in 2023. He shows a commanding elite-level anchor to halt the bull-rush that will translate immediately to the NFL interior. His adequate range in pass protection makes guard his best NFL home, where his power game can dominate. While his hand usage remains raw and his kick step technique needs refinement, Mauigoa's combination of athleticism, durability, and controlled aggression makes him a virtual lock to be a first-round pick. One evaluator called him their top-rated offensive lineman in the 2026 class regardless of position.
