From a promising rookie (2022) through two injury-shortened lost seasons to a stable tier 6 finish in Miami is the kind of veteran journeyman arc that defines middle-tier TEs. The 2025 game log is genuinely consistent (six of eight weeks between 4-7 PPR) with one Wk 17 16.1 PPR spike. He is a stable TE2 piece, not a player breaking back into the tier 4 territory his 2022 rookie sample projected.

Dulcich came out of UCLA as Denver's 3rd-round pick (80th overall) in 2022 after walking on to the Bruins program. His rookie 2022 produced 33 catches for 411 yards as Denver's primary receiving TE, then chronic hamstring injuries derailed his 2023 (just 8 catches) and ended his time in Denver. The Giants signed him in 2024 but waived him during the season. Miami claimed him in 2025 and he stabilized into a TE2 role behind whatever the Dolphins were getting from Jonnu Smith and Julian Hill, finishing tier 6 (#21) which is his first meaningful STTM finish since the 2022 rookie sample.

Strengths

Rookie 2022 produced 411 receiving yards in 10 games before the hamstring injuries; the per-game pace projected tier 4 territory if health had cooperated.
Miami's offense values mismatch TEs and the 2025 sample (six weeks between 4-7 PPR) shows defined role usage. The Wk 17 16.1 PPR spike confirms the ceiling remains.

Concerns

Two full seasons largely lost to recurring hamstring injuries (2023, 2024) make him a durability risk every preseason.
Tier 6 (#21) is the entire baseline; the absolute production has not been TE2-relevant since 2022. Miami's TE room can compress if any of Jonnu Smith, Julian Hill, or any 2026 additions stay healthy.

What to watch: Whether Miami retains him through 2026 final cuts or moves on for a younger TE with a healthier durability profile.
