Keyron Crawford developed from a rotational player into a cornerstone of Auburn's pass rush after transferring from Arkansas State following the 2023 season. The 6'4", 255-pound edge rusher made an immediate impact under defensive coordinator DJ Durkin, totaling 44 tackles, 10.5 TFLs, five sacks, and an interception across two seasons on the Plains. His real breakout came in 2025, when Crawford earned Third Team All-SEC honors after recording five sacks, 9.5 TFLs, and leading Auburn's defense with 44 pressures created according to Pro Football Focus. He finished second on the team in quarterback hurries with 27. Crawford describes himself as "a dog who loves talking trash" and a "twitchy and fast pass rusher" who is relentless when chasing the quarterback. He compares his game to Brian Burns, Maxx Crosby, Von Miller, and T.J. Watt-elite company that speaks to his self-belief and competitive nature.
