Pitts at STTM #11 tier 3 in 2025 with his first second-team All-Pro nod is the long-awaited rebound after three middling years. The 45.6 PPR Week 15 spike is the kind of ceiling week the 2020 Mackey winner was always supposed to produce. Michael Penix Jr.'s tier-8 QB rank capped the volume; the 2nd-team AP recognition came despite the QB ceiling.
Pitts was born in Philadelphia, attended Archbishop Wood, and was the 2020 John Mackey Award winner plus unanimous All-American at Florida. Atlanta took him fourth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, the highest TE pick in NFL history. He made his rookie Pro Bowl in 2021, then dipped before earning 2025 second-team All-Pro honors at age 25.
