STM Take

Eight Pro Bowls plus three 1st-team All-Pros plus Super Bowl 50 MVP plus Super Bowl LVI ring plus 130+ career sacks plus the Texas A&M 2nd overall draft pedigree establishes Miller as a first-ballot Hall of Fame edge defender. The 2026 question is whether Miller extends through age 38 or whether the structural late-career closure finally takes hold on the Hall-of-Fame chapter.

Miller came out of Texas A&M as the Denver Broncos' 1st-round pick (2nd overall) in 2011 after winning the 2010 Butkus Award. He has made eight Pro Bowls (2011, 2012, 2014-2018, 2019) plus earned three 1st-team All-Pro selections (2012, 2015, 2016). He won Super Bowl 50 as the MVP plus Super Bowl LVI with the Rams. He has crossed 130 career sacks. He has bounced through the Broncos, Rams, Bills, and now Commanders across 15 NFL seasons.

Strengths

Eight Pro Bowls plus three 1st-team All-Pros plus Super Bowl 50 MVP plus Super Bowl LVI ring plus 130+ career sacks establishes first-ballot Hall of Fame résumé.
Texas A&M 2nd overall draft pedigree plus 15 years of NFL elite production gives him the rare durability-and-excellence career foundation in NFL history.

Concerns

Age 37 plus 15 years of pass-rush wear puts the late-career structural closure question on every 2026 projection.
Multi-year injury history (2020 ankle, 2022 ACL) plus the limited recent availability puts continued durability question on every projection.

What to watch: Whether Miller extends through age 38 in 2026 plus holds tier 7 or better, the threshold for closing the all-time-great EDGE durability career case.
