Blake Frazier

Blake Frazier followed his father to Ann Arbor. Steve Frazier played center on Michigan's 1997 national title team, and Blake, a four-star tackle out of Vandegrift in Leander, Texas, picked the Wolverines over LSU and Texas after a growth spurt moved him from the interior to tackle. Michigan then handed a redshirt freshman the left tackle job in midseason, and the results were what young tackles usually produce: real flashes and real wounds. Across 13 games in 2025 he took 244 pass-blocking snaps and 261 in the run game, allowing four sacks and 16 pressures while drawing just one penalty. The Purdue game shows what he can be, a spotless pass-protection sheet with easy movement in the run game, and his pulls, climbs and reach blocks are reps you cannot teach. The problems are strength and seasoning. He plays well under NFL tackle weight, and the best fronts on his schedule treated him accordingly, with Ohio State and Texas both beating him for sacks. His anchor gives way whenever long-armed power lands first, and he catches rushers rather than striking them. Four sacks allowed in a half-season of starts is the kind of leak that gets quarterbacks hurt. He chose to stay in Ann Arbor rather than chase the portal, and two more seasons of starts plus a serious mass program could move him quickly. Today he is a traits-and-time developmental tackle.
