Prather is a physical receiver with excellent size and developing route-running skills. He displays strong hands, consistently catching away from his body and showing good concentration through contact. At the catch point, Prather uses his size effectively, boxing out defenders and making contested catches in traffic. After the catch, he demonstrates good strength and determination, breaking tackles and fighting for extra yards. Prather has shown improvement as a route runner, creating separation with physical releases and improving breaks. He is a willing blocker in the run game, using his size and strength to seal off defenders.
