Olave's climb from STTM #44 tier 6 in 2024 to #18 tier 3 in 2025 with a second-team All-Pro selection is the rebound the Saints have been waiting on since his 2023 sophomore year. The late-season game log peaks (36.8 PPR Wk 16, 25.9 PPR Wk 17) show the route-running ceiling is intact. The 2025 hardware says the tier-1 conversation is back open if the team's QB room stabilizes in 2026.
Olave was born in San Ysidro, California (Cuban on his father's side, African-American on his mother's), and played at Mission Hills High before four years at Ohio State, where he set the school record for career receiving touchdowns (35).
