STM Take
Higgins at STTM #23 tier 3 in 2025 climbed back from #37 tier 5 in 2023 and #11 tier 2 in 2024, the standard zigzag of a WR2 in a Burrow offense whose availability has fluctuated. His first Pro Bowl came in 2025 alongside the 27.2 PPR Week 14 ceiling and the 33.1 PPR Week 9 spike. The 6'4" 220 frame remains the league's most dependable Chase-complementary X-receiver.
Higgins was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, attended Oak Ridge High, and won the 2018 CFP national title at Clemson. Cincinnati took him 33rd overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has made one Pro Bowl (2025) and accumulated 389 catches for 5,441 yards and 45 TDs across six seasons playing alongside Ja'Marr Chase.
Strengths
- First Pro Bowl in 2025 at age 26 after five years of WR2 production behind Chase.
- 45 career receiving TDs on 389 catches; the TD efficiency is among the better marks in the field.
Concerns
- Joe Burrow's tier-4 finish in 2025 and recurring availability questions are the volume cap.
- Pre-2025 line includes a tier-5 dip in 2023 and the rank has bounced widely with Burrow's health.
What to watch: Whether Burrow plays 17 games in 2026; Higgins's tier-1 case requires the QB ceiling to translate.
