STM Take
Lamb at STTM #15 tier 2 in 2025 (down from #20 tier 3 in 2024, and from #4 tier 1 in 2023) closes a two-year stretch off the 2023 peak. The 2025 game log shows steady production with one weak Wk 18 closer (1.4 PPR). The addition of George Pickens as the team's STTM #3 WR is changing target share; Lamb is no longer Dallas's one-target focus.
Lamb was born in Opelousas, Louisiana, attended Foster High School in Texas, and was a 2019 consensus All-American at Oklahoma. The Cowboys took him 17th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has made five straight Pro Bowls (2021-2025), earned first-team All-Pro in 2023 and second-team in 2022 and 2024, and led the NFL in receptions in 2023. Career line is 571 catches for 7,416 yards and 41 TDs across six seasons.
Strengths
- Five straight Pro Bowls and three All-Pro selections including the 2023 first-team nod; the long-term resume is locked.
- Career 571 receptions for 7,416 yards through age 27; the production tier is established.
Concerns
- Two consecutive years below his 2023 peak; the rank trend is going the wrong way.
- Pickens's STTM #3 finish means Dallas's target share is now split, capping Lamb's single-week ceiling.
What to watch: Whether Lamb and Pickens both finish top-15 in 2026, or whether one of them gets squeezed out by the shared role.
