Kaden Wetjen has established himself as one of the most electric return specialists in college football, with game-breaking ability that translates directly to the NFL's new kickoff rules. The 5'9", 196-pound Iowa receiver made history in 2025 by becoming the only player in Big Ten history to record three punt return touchdowns and one kickoff return touchdown in the same season. His 30.5 yards per kickoff return average speaks to his elite vision, contact balance, and decisive burst-once he sees a lane, he hits it at full speed without hesitation. Wetjen's athletic profile centers on exceptional short-burst acceleration and the ability to make defenders miss in space. He consistently sets up blocks, understands leverage, and routinely bounces off would-be tacklers with surprising contact balance for his size. As a receiver, Wetjen contributed 20 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown in 2025, though he would likely produce more in an offense that featured heavier passing volume.
