Two consecutive tier 8 finishes (#129, #94) define the WR role: career-long return specialist with secondary WR snaps. The 2025 game log peaks at Wk 17's 15.6 PPR with Wk 13's 8.1 as the secondary spike; most weeks scored under 5 PPR. He stays employed for the All-Pro return value plus occasional gadget WR usage, not for receiving production.

Turpin came out of TCU after his college career ended on a domestic violence dismissal in 2019. He went undrafted, played in the USFL where he was named the 2022 USFL Most Valuable Player, then signed with Dallas as a UDFA in summer 2022. He made the 1st-team All-Pro team as a punt returner and kick returner in 2022, becoming the only USFL-to-NFL player to earn that honor. His receiving role has expanded gradually through three Dallas seasons, with the 2025 tier 8 #94 finish marking modest progress from 2024's #129.
