Vinson is a dependable linebacker with excellent instincts and consistent tackling technique. He displays good processing speed, quickly diagnosing plays and taking proper angles to the ball. Against the run, Vinson shows the ability to stack and shed blockers, maintaining gap integrity and making plays at the line of scrimmage. In coverage, he demonstrates good awareness in zone, understanding route combinations and passing off receivers correctly. Vinson is a sure tackler who rarely misses in space and brings proper leverage to the point of contact.
