The position switch from RG to RT plus the 2024 tier 3 (#19) breakout established him as a meaningful starter. Goedeke came out of Central Michigan as Tampa Bay's 2nd-round pick (57th overall) in 2022. He started his NFL career at right guard before sliding to right tackle in 2023, where he has remained since.
