The position switch from RG to RT plus the 2024 tier 3 (#19) breakout established him as a meaningful starter. The 2025 step back to tier 5 (#34) reflects the broader Bucs OL injury issues more than a Goedeke-specific concern. Goedeke came out of Central Michigan as Tampa Bay's 2nd-round pick (57th overall) in 2022. He started his NFL career at right guard before sliding to right tackle in 2023, where he has remained since. His career arc has been jagged: tier 6 (#48) at right guard as a rookie, tier 3 (#19) at right tackle in 2024 when Tampa Bay's offensive line came together with Mike Evans's healthy season, then tier 5 (#34) in 2025 as the Bucs offensive line health declined.
